Bio Character Name: Izumi Orimoto Fandom: Digimon Age: 14 Student? Teacher? (+ Grade Level or Teaching Subject): Student - Freshman Character's Personality: Izumi is a rather cheerful girl, but rather bossy and demanding at times. She can also seem violent when angry, but that's a trait seen in many girls her age, ;) When first meeting people, she’s reluctant to make friends, due to the fact it’s likely her parents will up and move in a few short months. Character's History: Izumi was born in Staten Island, New York City to Mana and Ryou Orimoto. She’s an only child. Mana was the daughter of a Japanese model and Ryou is a model. For the majority of her life, Izumi can mainly remember one thing; travelling. Her parents had the money after all and both of them always had the dream of being able to throw a dart at a globe and saying ‘Let’s live there!’ So, Izumi was born during a 10-month-stay in New York City. It would’ve been three months, but they got a little to frisky in San Fransico. At the age of two months, Mana and Ryou packed their bags and off to Hong Kong it was. Paris? Rome? Bucharest? You name it, Izumi’s probably been there. And probably not for more than four months. It’s because of the random moving around that Izumi’s only been to her parent’s hometown, Shibuya, Tokyo, twice in her life. Thus, she has very little memories of the very little of her family she’s met. It’s also because of the moving around that Izumi’s reluctant to make friends with new people. By the time she does make friend with people, her parents are making plans to moth within the next two months. So when Izumi’s 12 and the Orimotos go to Italy a third time – to a small town named Aosta in the Alps – Izumi has very little hope that they’ll stay for more than four months. However, for some reason Mana and Ryou /don’t/ pack their bags and Izumi finds herself joining in on activities and clubs with her friends. However, two years later, her parents have something good to tell her. Izumi, having lost thoughts that they’ll be moving, again, just thinks it’ll be that pink DS she’s being hankering for. However, Mana and Ryou announce that they’re moving to Woodgrove, California. So Izumi’s forced to say goodbye and pack her bags. They head over to California and Izumi has to adjust to an American way of life…and not spouting out Italian at random times. |
